The aluminum frames are synonymous with lightness and stiffness.
Although, as a mechanical feature, aluminium is softer than steel. Using different shapes, thicknesses and diameters, we can build really good rigid and light frames for sports and racing.
For example, using pipes as the Dedacciai D 7.9 or Columbus XLR8R, where metals are added such as scandium and zirconium, we can build frames weighing about 1.000 gr. with high mechanical and resistance properties.
